Well, today was a bit slow at work so I scurried on home to battle my growing "finish me" pile. I discovered that I had quite a bit done on a number of items....finished a few....and pretty much lost interest in some others. All in all I think I have a doable pile.
Little sweaters, slippers to warm the feet, scarves/neck warmers and hats....so many things to delight in. I'm thinking I will complete only one of the scarves....reversible cables that are wonderful - but THREE? I think not..... I'll let that yarn take on a more adventuresome persona....who knows....... maybe even a doggy sweater.... yum! I really love those! I have only two days to complete my baby sweaters.....sleeves and buttons - think I can do it. One will need some duplicate stitching, but that can be quite exhilarating once I get the creative juices flowing :) I have promised my brother I would stop long enough to knit him a "man sweater" - I did one of those and swore them off forever - but when a guy actually REQUESTS that you knit a sweater for them how can you refuse??? The guys are usually wearing a ghastly creation out of sheer love (or bad taste) and would much rather be wearing their favorite sport t or sweatshirt. So I will be honored and happy to knit a "man sweater" for my brother. But don't you think sweaters are so much more adorable in the wee bit sizes??? Me too :)
