A SMILE CAN TRAVEL MILES

It is an amazing fact that a simple smile can change the course of a person's day then travel on to the next unexpecting stranger to once again accomplish a miraculous change in outlook.... how many smiles can we send across the country today???

Tuesday Bluesday

Well.....I was going to report that the dog puzzle was complete.....nope.....actually there is at least one piece, maybe more, that has mysteriously gone missing (Joe?) This dilemma is making the progress on the puzzle slower than molasses.  It has been a challenge from the beginning...knowing that the end result will most likely be incomplete is disheartening to say the least.  But we persevere one piece at a time with the dimmest of hope that we have made a mistake and the piece hasn't gone missing at all! I say this as I'm frogging the beautiful cowl/neck warmer I have been knitting for the last couple evenings....so sad!  I had read the pattern correctly but for whatever reason decided to fix the yarn over holes (they didn't show in the picture) - Of course, by doing so I ruined the entire look of it!  I guess there is a reason designers make things the way they do :)  I'm not giving up though - I will recast and begin again.....I feel naked without a project on the needles!!! One last bluesy thing, if I may.... I went out back to see where the dogs were getting all the wonderful dirt clods they were playing with in the house and discovered a ginormous hole being dug under my flowerpots!!!  Not sure how long they have been gathering dirt clods and rocks from that excavation spot - but from the looks of it a really really long time!!!! Need to rethink the back patio! Some days there is enough dirt on the floor in the house to plant an indoor garden!!!!  Joe says he did not do it......????? Hmmmmmm
